6. Wet N Wild FERGIE gold album nail color. I’ve tested a bunch of gold shades, and love this one the best!

7. Colorful Ankle Socks. I am quite obsessed with many pair I’ve found at Target, this set are coordinating, but not matching in several designs.

8. Arrow Necklace from Charming Charlie’s. I love this unique necklace, you tie it whatever length you’d like.

9. Coconut Lime Cashews. YUM! Delicious snack with a kick…sold at Target in big or small packages.

10. White Chocolate Macadamia Laceys from World Market. OH my, love these! Other flavors available. I keep them in the fridge b/c I prefer cold treats.

11. Pretty notecards with colorful envelopes. I like to write notes to people and mail them. I get blank cards b/c they are often sent with just a random thought. I love colorful envelopes, because how fun is it to open up your mailbox and see something BRIGHT, only to find it’s a handwritten note just for you? Similar, check Target store for more options.

Chocolate Chili with Cornbread Waffles

It’s finally cooled off a bit here in Texas. Though it may not last, I’ll take it! I can now pull out all the soups and recipes to warm me up inside, and one of my favorites is chili. Have you ever heard of Chocolate Chili? At first, I thought it sounded pretty strange, but when I heard it was a recipe that won chili cook-off’s, I had to give it a try! I thought it would pair nicely with cornbread waffles, an idea I’d seen in a magazine and thought sounded FUN!

Chocolate Chili with Cornbread Waffles

I made it for my family, and simply said there was a secret ingredient inside…nobody could guess what it was! It was a hit, and the kids thought it was pretty cool that they were having chocolate for dinner.

I got this recipe from a reader named Susan, who told me this story:… Continue Reading

Triple Honeycomb Crunch

It’s the time again! Welcome to the blog hop featuring 10 creative bloggers. This month’s theme is all things HONEYCOMB.  I decided to make a fun little snack mix, and named it Triple Honeycomb Crunch because it has THREE types of honeycomb in the mix. I’ll share modifications for a single and double honeycomb, too.  It’s a delightful little treat perfect for an outing with the family in individual bags, or in a big bowl over a silly movie.

It’s a fun party on the 10th each month!

Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cupcakes

I can’t believe I haven’t yet shared our families favorite Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cupcakes with all of you! They were introduced to me the night my husband proposed, and I’ve made them ever since. I generally have all the ingredients on hand (I do try to keep cream cheese in the fridge), so it’s easy. If you keep cream cheese and chocolate chips on hand (I generally do),  you will likely have all of the other ingredients in your pantry, too.
