Polka Dot Easter Bunny Free Printable

I’m so stinkin’ excited to share this Polka Dot Easter Bunny Free Printable I created! Let me just say, I am not a great digital designer. I WANT to be, but when I need something cute digitally, I call a handful of talent to help me out. I set out determined to make a print, and happy with how it turned out!

I was on Pinterest a few nights ago doing a search for an Easter printable I could use for the center of my mantle. I had a pretty ugly center piece last year around my cute World Market finds, and needed something more fabulous.  I really wanted bright colors (because I like BRIGHTS at Easter) and wanted something without text–more art. I found the most adorable printable that was PERFECT! It was made two years ago here, but the blog appears to be mostly deleted, but somehow that link still works?  The download didn’t work, and there were countless comments of people begging for the bug to be fixed in the last two years (anyone want to email all of them about this one?)! As I looked closer I thought to myself, It’s just a bunch of circles (and ovals), I think I can re-create that in Picmonkey. So off I went, and excited with how it all came together. I fell in LOVE with Mr. Bunny! Or shall we call him Peter Cottontail?

I started with the pink bunny on the yellow background, then created a bunch more color combo’s and felt giddy! Look at me~designing stuff!  Do you see how it is a bunch of circle and ovals? I did everything on PicMonkey except the whiskers, I pulled that into photoshop (am I missing the straight line maker in PicMonkey?). I do pay the yearly $30 to access all on their site.

Can you guess what colors I printed big for my home?

I just can’t help it, I love hot pink and turquoise together (if you can’t tell from my site design).  Now I just need someone to design everything around the mantel. I don’t have a lot of stuff to work with, and it’s not my specialty.

Onto the prints!

I really liked  the full bleed polka dots, but then put a border on them, and liked that too. So I’ve got lots of printable options for you.

With the border:

I really like the look of the border, but I ran into problems when printing it at a lab. Apparantly Coscto and Sams Club have the same picture ordering software that is cropped to a .3 OFF, and it cut off the right and left side of my large print when I ordered the poster (thick board).  Ordering a real print (that you might frame or mod podge to wood should be just fine).

These are made as an 8×10 print. However, a 16×20 is a similar crop ratio, so I took my 8×10 print into photoshop and placed it onto a 16×20 canvas. If you don’t know how to do that, it might be best to just stick with the 8×10.  BUT, you might be able to also print it as a 16×20 because they are the same crop ratio. I did with my big one, and there is the slightest pixelation that I’ll see up close, but up on my mantel, can’t tell at all.

If you go to THIS LINK you can get to a folder that has all 12 of the images as an 8×10 individual jpg that you can upload to a photo lab (uncheck the auto correct for best color) or print at home.  The link will take you to a page with two folders: border and no border. Once opened, you will see files, you can download by clicking on each one on the arrow in the top corner, or right click to save).

Warning, I only used ONE blue shade. My home photo printer, it turned out more royal blue (see in the 3 printed trio) but the lab was true color quality.

Once printed, slap on a cottontail cotton ball, and set it out to enjoy. The kids will love it!

Your kids might also enjoy some Easter Lunch Jokes or Cadbury Mini Egg Cookie Dough Brownies or a Mary Had a Little Lamb Party!
