DIY Vintage Photo Mantel on Mad in Crafts

I am so pleased to be a part of this Decorating with Pictures series!  My name is Jessica and I share crafts and DIY projects on my blog Mad in Crafts.   I love to beautify our new house with DIY projects like those in our recently made-over sunroom and to make my own decorations like this Anthropologie-inspired art plate collage.

While we do have an entire gallery wall of photos in our front entryway, I don’t have very many family photos in our main living space.  I decided to remedy that by creating a mantel display that would feature some of my favorite photos – those of my husband’s and my parents and grandparents as young couples.  It ended up being a perfect mantel to have up over Valentine’s Day.
Vintage Photos and Cameras
I hope you’ll visit me on Mad in Crafts to see how I used a salvaged set of plantation shutters and my collection of vintage cameras to create my Vintage Photo Mantel.  Thank you so much, Kristen, for including me in this fantastic series!
