Girls Afternoon with Sally Hansen Nails

I recently got to host a Girls Afternoon with Sally Hansen where we were able to try out some of the most fun colors in their line up. I gathered my girls, their buddies, and their moms for a little get together to pamper each other.  The girls thought it was SO much fun, I even let my daughter paint MY nails!

{My youngest on the left wasn’t really mad, she pulled this face JUST for the picture–so adorable, I say;)}

I headed out to my local Walgreens to gather supplies. You can see my Google + album for pictures in store including the great sales! It was delightful to see the variety of Sally Hansen products from decals to polish. At home, I made a fun little Moroccan type set up on the floor, complete with an array of colorful polishes and pillows to sit on. nail polish

We then did some nail filing, exchanged hand massages with some Sally Hansen cuticle cream, and trimmed the cuticles. It was fun trying to describe to the girls what exactly we were doing when pushing back the cuticles. We all agreed the hand massages were pretty nice!

I purchased a bunch of the Xtreme Wear Hard As Nails colors because they were on sale 2 for $5 when using my Balance Rewards card. I also got 1000 points on the card! (that sale ends April 27th) There were so many great colors to choose from. I signed up for the Balance Rewards card at Walgreens and had an immediate savings on some of the products I purchased. I love that I also am accumulating points along the way for a future discount.Sally Hansen Nail Art

In the event that you don’t have Walgreens close by, you can order online, too!  I love the Sally Hansen Insta Dry line, and my friends and I all loved the silver color.  The nail art pens are also very fun because you can easily paint on polka dots or other designs on the nails.  If you want to see a fun video of the girls, I shared it on my VINE feed.

You can follow the chatter about Sally Hansen nails on their twitter page or facebook, as well as Walgreens on twitter. Follow hashtags #iheartmynailart for more fun and ideas on color block nail patterns.

It was really fun to have this mother/daughter afternoon nail painting party, both moms and girls loved it!

    This looked like tons of fun? What is a vine feed and how do i look at the video?

      Hi Julie!
      Vine is new and like instagram but for videos. 6 second videos. You can upload the vine app on a smart phone and look me up–just type in my name! I don’t post there much, but I’m starting to get the hang of it (it’s only a 6 second video, and part of the sponsored post, so not SUPER exciting if you don’t upload the app)

  3. Fun! I have never really been into painting my fingernails until the last year. My toes? Always. But my fingers are liking it! I will have to try out some of those fun colors! My girlies love a good manicure session.

      It’s true, I didn’t paint my fingernails much before either…I just wish it didn’t peel off so easily…my girls love it, too.

  4. Oh the cuteness with these little girls! Love this idea and your setup, definitely something I want to try for a sleepover with my daughter soon!
